Tennis Teams Excel on Court and in Classroom

Members of the Northwood University men’s and women’s tennis teams were named to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete teams. Honorees must be varsity letter winners, possess a minimum grade point average of 3.50 (4.00 scale), and be enrolled for at least two semesters.

Representing the Women’s Team are senior Darina Berkova, freshman Anna Aniskina, and freshman Anastasia Kazub.

On the men’s side are senior Jean Menard, sophomore Lorenzo Montegiorgi , sophomore Samuel Walendowsky , sophomore Konstantin Zhukov and freshman Salikh Gilmutdinov.

Both teams excelled on the court. The men’s team won their 20th straight conference championship, while the women’s team won their 10th title in the last 11 years.
