Jordan Bischel became the seventh head baseball coach in the 49 year history of the program earlier this summer. Bischel replaces Joe DiBenedetto, who accepted another position within the athletic department.

Besides being an outstanding coach he has a proven great rapport with his players. He is a very high caliber person who will quickly fit in with the Northwood family and in our community.”
Bischel comes to Northwood after a pair of highly successful seasons at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska where the Warriors registered 74 victories and a pair of appearances in the NAIA National Tournament.
Prior to Midland, Bischel had a great deal of success in a variety of coaching roles including head coach of the Green Bay Bullfrogs, pitching coach at Northwest Missouri State and assistant coach at John Carroll and Saint Norbert College.
“I am thrilled to join such a tremendous institution,” said Bischel. “Northwood and the Midland community will be an amazing spot for my wife, Katie, and I to settle. We are incredibly excited to join the Northwood family and I cannot wait to bring tremendous passion to building a championship baseball program.”
