One Coach, Two Teams, and Three Athletes Added to 13th Class of Athletic Hall of Fame
Every year, the Athletic Hall of Fame Board of Directors inducts five to six people into the Northwood Athletic Hall of Fame. This year, they’re adding 21.
The 13th class of the Athletic Hall of Fame includes four individuals and, for the first time, two teams – the 1998 and 2002 men’s tennis teams. Also joining the ranks are tennis coach Zane Colestock, football cornerback Martell Foster (’04), softball player Rhonda Saunders (’96), and track and field high-jumper Julane Thayer (’87).
Inductees are selected based on their athletic prowess, contributions to the athletic programs, success and character as well as their positive representation of Northwood University.
